If you are a lover of good music and, above all, a Beatles fan, then the appointment is for the 21th of August with the Beatleweek, which is the biggest celebration ever dedicated to the Fab Four.
Headquarters, of course, are Liverpool and that Cavern Club so loved by the group, where Lennon and his associates took their first steps towards success.
In this club, in fact, they would have performed for 298 evenings, before the definitive consecration.
The festival is the best tribute the band could get.
Over the course of a week, day and night, the music of John, Paul, George and Ringo will resonate in every corner of the City. There will be seventy of the best Beatles tribute bands and fans from around the world.
All in the name of the legendary Beatles!
Beatleweek, reaches its 38th edition. Furthermore, the event is the right opportunity to discover a beautiful city and retrace those places so dear to the band.
The festival takes place in different venues, including the Cavern Club, the historic venue where the Beatles and Rolling Stones performed in the 1960s.
The Club is located at 23 Mathew Street, a place perfectly within walking distance of Liverpool city center. The Port (Waterfront) and the famous statue of the Fab Four, in fact, is just a 10-minute walk away.
Alternatively, by public transport, you can arrive by train (Merseyrail) and bus. In the first case, get off at Moorfields station and continue on foot for about 7 minutes. By bus, however, you get off at the nearby Whitechapel stop.
The Britannia Adelphi, on Ranelagh St, hosts several parties. It is located a short distance from the central railway station. On Renshaw Street, not far from the Britannia, is the Grand Central Hall. Both host some interesting scheduled evenings.
From Wednesday 21 (debut) to Tuesday 27 August, fixed appointment every day at 11:00 at the Cavern Club.
On Friday 23th, at the Grand Central Hall, appointments starting at 8:00 pm with The Overture.
Friday, Saturday and Monday 26th, from 11.00 pm, fixed appointment with the After Parties at the Wave Bar of the Adelphi.
Tribute to Andre Concert is the show that will close the 38th edition of the festival. Appointment at the Cavern Club Live Lounge at 2 and 8 pm.
A single ticket for the Cavern Club only costs £10 per person. Prices to attend other scheduled events vary from around £30 to £50. Packages can also be purchased, available in 6 different versions, the cost of which varies depending on the number of events.
We start from the cheapest packages, RED ALBUM and WHITE ALBUM which cost £130 and £195 respectively, up to the GOLD ANTHOLOGY package. The latter, the most expensive (£310) offers full access to all Beatleweek 2024 events. All packages include entry (for the selected period) to the Cavern Club.
