If you are a lover of good music and, above all, a Beatles fan, then the appointment is for the 24th of August with the Beatleweek, which is the biggest celebration ever dedicated to the Fab Four.
Headquarters, of course, are Liverpool and that Cavern Club so loved by the group, where Lennon and his associates took their first steps towards success.
In this club, in fact, they would have performed for 298 evenings, before the definitive consecration.
The festival is the best tribute the band could get.
Over the course of a week, day and night, the music of John, Paul, George and Ringo will resonate in every corner of the City. There will be seventy of the best Beatles tribute bands and fans from around the world.
All in the name of the legendary Beatles!
Beatleweek, reaches its 36th edition … or at least hopefully. In fact, due to the Pandemic, the last two editions have been canceled. Could it be the right time?
Furthermore, the event is the right opportunity to discover a beautiful city and retrace those places so dear to the band.
The festival takes place in different venues, including the Cavern Club, the historic venue where the Beatles and Rolling Stones performed in the 1960s.
The Club is located at 23 Mathew Street, a place perfectly within walking distance of Liverpool city center. The Port (Waterfront) and the famous statue of the Fab Four, in fact, is just a 10-minute walk away.
Alternatively, by public transport, you can arrive by train (Merseyrail) and bus. In the first case, get off at Moorfields station and continue on foot for about 7 minutes. By bus, however, you get off at the nearby Whitechapel stop.
The Philarmonic Hall, which hosts two major events, is located on Hope St, not far from the University of Liverpool. You can get there by bus, getting off at the nearby Sugnall Street stop or at Arrad st.
Alma de Cuba is located in the nightlife area, not far from the port. It is a beautiful place converted from an old church, which was later converted into a pub. It can be reached easily on foot. Liverpool street railway station is a 5-minute walk away.
From Wednesday 24 (debut) to Monday 29 August, fixed appointment every day at 10:00 at the Cavern Club.
Friday and Saturday, at the Philarmonic Hall, appointments at 8 pm with John and George at Phil and Pepperland / Pepe Lienhard Big Band.
Friday at 12:00, Welcome back to Liverpool in Alma de Cuba.

The single ticket is only available for the Cavern Club. It costs £10 per person. To attend the other scheduled events, you need to purchase the special package, available in 6 different versions, the cost of which varies depending on the number of events.
It starts with the cheapest packages, RED ALBUM JUST TICKETS PACKAGE and YELLOW SUB JUST TICKETS PACKAGE which cost respectively £145 and £170, and ends up with the GOLD ANTHOLOGY package. The latter, the most expensive (a whopping £310) offers full access to all Beatleweek 2022 events. All packages include free admission (for the selected period) to the Cavern Club.
