For almost 2 weeks, Stuttgart is ready to delight visitors with Germany’s largest wine festival: Stuttgarter Weindorf.
An extraordinary event that combines wine and good food, now in its 47th edition this year. Great protagonists will be the excellent wines of the Baden-Wüttenberg region, and the regional culinary specialties.
More than 30 farmers Weindorf, 500 of white and red wine labels, and about one million people, from every corner of the country and of Europe. really impressive numbers for the Stuttgart Wine Festival.

wine village at the corner of Schillerplatz and Richard-von-Weizsäcker-Planie. Strolling among the more than one hundred wooden kiosks, all decorated with wine-growing motifs, you can breathe a old-time atmosphere.

An event, among other things, always attentive to issues of sustainability and ecology. And, this year, the wine village will again be supplied with 100% green electricity!
The Stuttgart Wine Festival is an opportunity to discover this wonderful city, full of life, and in turmoil. An ideal place for a vacation alone, as a couple and as a family.
Stuttgart is easily accessible by train and plane from major domestic and European destinations. Reached the center, you can easily get to Stuttgarter Weindorf with excellent public transport. Solution, in our opinion, perfect.
Chartlottenplatz and Börsenplatz (L-Bank), are the stops of the U-Bahn close of the Stuttgart Wine Festival. Both are located just minutes away from the location.
In alternative to the meter, you can use the bus. Just in front, there is a stop of the lines 42, 44, N4, N5, N6, and more.
Among the various stands, you can enjoy excellent food and the best regional wines. During the event, however, there is no shortage of events, initiatives and entertainment.
On Wednesday 30 August 2023, at 6.30 pm, the official ceremony of the 43rd edition of the Festival in the presence of the Mayor, in the internal courtyard of the Altes Schloss. On Monday 04 September appointment with the Hour of Diversity. Music and entertainment at the Kulturlaube with Stuttgart Pride. Also not to be missed is the traditional Grape treading by the municipal councilors and members of Parliament with their feet obviously well washed!
On Sunday 03 and 10 September, the traditional religious services will take place from 12:00. During the same days, at 13:00, Family Sundays will take place. Guaranteed fun for everyone with fashion shows, face painting, storytellers, clowns and much more at the Wine Village.

The Stuttgart Wine Festival takes place Sunday to Wednesday, 11:30 to 23:00, and Thursday to Saturday, 11:30 to midnight.
Access to Stuttgarter Weindorf is free. You only pay for what is consumed and purchased at the stands. You can also use the €5 and €10 vouchers from Pro Stuttgart.
Furthermore, during the 5 SWR afternoon appointments, €15 vouchers will be raffled off for some of the participants. Do not miss!
