The best time to visit the city, according to the inhabitants of Seville? No doubt. The one coinciding with the Feria de Abril Seville, one of the most anticipated events of the year. Along with Holy Week.
The Feria de Abril Seville is the most popular festival in the city. It takes place exactly two weeks after Easter Sunday. The festival was born in 1847 as a livestock fair. Over the years, it began to change its initial character, until it took on its current form; that is, an incredibly fun festival, where people dance, dance and let loose until the first light of dawn.

Girona, Jerez de la Frontera, Madrid, Sineu, Tarragona: there are 6 events in May 2025 that are worth, alone, the trip to Spain.
After Seville, we start, in chronological order, with the Sineu Spring Fair, one of the most important agricultural and artisanal events of the Iberian Peninsula.
From 06 to 15, great celebrations for the patron saint of the capital. The San Isidro Festival offers masked parades, dances, classical music concerts, rock marathons, yoga activities, ceramic fairs and much more.
Beautiful, scenic and evocative the Temps de Flors. From 10th to 18th May, you can stroll through the splendid alleys of Girona, in an explosion of colors and scents.
Good food. Lots of wine and sangria. Dancing and flamenco until late at night. Lots of fun and, at the center, the purebred Spanish horse. From 17th to 24th, appointment in Jerez with the Horse Fair, one of the best events of May 2025 not to be missed.
Tarracoviva celebrates its 27th anniversary this year. An extraordinary event to discover the beauties of one of the most beautiful cities of the Ancient Roman Empire.

Art. History. Culture. The Rhine Valley is undoubtedly one of the most fascinating and evocative places in all of Germany. Right in this wonderful land, starting from the first week of May, you can admire a truly unique spectacle, known as the Rhine in Flames (Rhein in Flammen). Appointment on May 3 with May 03: Bonn / Linz Am Rhein.
In Germany, until May 11, Stuttgart hosts the spring festival most loved by the Germans: Fruhlingsfest. A sort of spring Oktoberfest, more genuine and less touristy. A festival where you can taste the excellent beers on offer, enjoy the culinary delights and have fun with all your children. In addition to the food stands, in fact, you will find rides, attractions, games, dances, songs and events dedicated to the little ones.

In the North, Hamburg dresses up to celebrate the anniversary of the Port. Hafengeburtstag is the most important maritime festival in the world. The celebrations take place in the Landungsbrücken area, in the Speicherstadt warehouse district, and along the new HafenCity district.
Tradition and religion are the protagonists, in Belgium and Portugal, of two extraordinary events in May. In Fatima, on the 13th, the anniversary of the apparition of the Madonna occurs. People set off on a pilgrimage to the most important sanctuary in Portugal. In Belgium, however, May 29th is the day of the Procession of the Holy Blood which, since the distant 13th century, has been linked to the history and culture of Bruges.
Music will be the protagonist again this month with one of the twenty most anticipated annual events: EDC Las Vegas. Since 1990, the Electronic Daisy Carnival has been a point of reference for lovers of the genre. It starts on Friday 16th at the Motor Speedway with the first of 3 evenings.
From 13th to 17th May 2025, Basel will host the final stages of the Eurovision Song Contest, a singing competition that has reached its 69th edition this year.
