Winzerfest 2025

Germans are a people who love to have fun. From January to December, there is no shortage of events, festivals and noteworthy manifestations. Gorgeous Hamburg is no exception. Music, fun and… lots of beer (almost always).

If you find yourself in Hamburg, during the last weekend of August, you cannot miss the Saint Pauli Winzerfest, one of the most anticipated food and wine events. As can be easily understood, wine will be the real protagonist of the Festival. Some of the best winemakers from Nahe, Pflaz, and Rheinhessen will take part in the event.

These are three extraordinary wine regions from all over Germany. Rheinhessen is the largest in the country. Nahe, on the other hand, is known for the production of excellent Riesling.

Winzerfest is fun, taste and, above all, a moment of aggregation. It is no coincidence that the location of the event is the historic Spielbudenplatz, in St. Pauli, in the heart of the legendary Reeperbahn. This is the real entertainment and entertainment district of Hamburg, the hub and nerve center of the city.

HOW TO GET

Hamburg International Airport is connected, with direct flights, to the main European and non-European destinations. The airport is well connected by public transport with the city.

You can get to Winzerfest, using the comfortable and efficient U-Bahn line 3. You will have to get off at the St. Pauli stop. By bus, however, lines 36, 37, 111, 607, 608 arrive. Tickets, timetables and practical information, available from here.

WINZERFEST 2025 PROGRAM

Wine will be the absolute protagonist of the Festival but there will be good food and the best traditional dishes. Among the various stands in the area, you can enjoy succulent barbecues, cheese specialties, pancakes, shrimps and other delicacies.

Furthermore, during the 4 days of the Festival, there will be a rich program of events and live music with local artists.
