WHERE: Valletta, Malta
WHEN: from 11 to 13 August 2023
Malta: a wonderful island, between sun, sea and numerous testimonies of the past. A place to admire in every corner, and glimpse. And above all, a place to savor … with a good glass of wine.
Because, precisely in this suggestive land, in the south of Sicily, the most important wine festival in the country takes place every year: the Delicata Wine Festival.
This year we celebrate the 20th anniversary and, for the occasion, a second appointment will be proposed again in Nador, on the nearby island of Gozo, on the first weekend of September.
A total of 20 wines, from 10 different award-winning vintages.
Wines from the vines of Girgentina and Ġellewża; the sumptuous wines of the Gran Cavalier selection and the internationally renowned Grand Vin de Hauteville range. And, again, a selection of white, red, sparkling wines, boutique wines, and noble wines. The exclusive The Falcon, and Casella Moscato.
All, of course, will be accompanied by dishes of the local gastronomic tradition, which you can taste among the various stands set up in the area.
The Delicata Wine festival is, without a doubt, a good excuse for a holiday in Malta. The best way to appreciate this fantastic country.
The Delicata Festival takes place in Malta, in the arch of a single weekend, from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 August.
