If you are looking for an alternative festival that combines a suggestive location, excellent music and sub-zero temperatures … then, the Sneeuwbal Winterfestival is the event that’s right for you.
This crazy and incredible festival, despite the low temperatures, will be able to warm up. You dance, drink and have fun for almost 10 hours, from 14:00, to the rhythm of Techno, Tech House and Deep House. In the splendid setting of the Park Transwij, of Utrecht.
The event is also the right occasion to discover the beautiful Dutch town, not far from Amsterdam.
Now in its eleventh edition, Sneeuwbal Winterfestival the role of primadonna in the European techno / House scene has now been carved out.
The name itself, which literally means “winter snowball festival”, is quite unequivocal about what you can expect.
In the area, several areas are set up, mostly indoor, in which to romp. In any case, this is a winter festival with temperatures that stand below zero. Therefore, do not forget gloves, scarf and hat. Maybe, a nice grandma’s sweater; in this case, it would be really recommended.
And, what about a nice pair of wool underpants? If you do not have them, pack them!
PRACTICAL INFO
Sneeuwbal Winterfestival it is forbidden for minors of 18 years. On this, they are very intransigent, so as to require an identity document at the entrance. It is recommended to always carry it with you. Keep in mind that this is a winter festival. Wear proper, warm clothing.
The festival opens the gates to 14:00. Expected closing at 23:00.
At the moment, the entrance fee should costs about 50€ per person, inclusive of commissions and taxes. Keep in mind that tickets are literally snapped up.
