The German tradition, lives in Philadelphia with the Christmas Village.
For several years now, three Philadelphia and Nuremberg have established a deep bond. Visiting the Christmas Village, the German imprint of the Christkindlmarkt is evident.
Philadelphia Christmas is modeled on traditional German and European markets. You can walk among the more than 80 stands, among sparkling lights and a riot of colors, scents and flavors. It is Bavarian and German gastronomy that is the master but there are also typical products from every corner of Europe.
Waffle. Gingerbread. Bockwurst. And mulled wine to warm up your evenings.
And, of course, there will be no lack of articles and craft objects, ornaments, jewels …
The setting is that of the beautiful Love Park, completely renovated. The context, really fascinating and suggestive. It starts, as usual, Thanksgiving Day to end on Christmas Eve.

PRACTICAL INFO
HOW TO GET TO THE CHRISTMAS VILLAGE
Love Park is located in the city center, not far from the Philadelphia International Airport. From Terminal A, with Airport Line 438, get off at the Suburban Station stop. In a few minutes you reach the Park, home of the Christmas Village.
On the subway, you can use the Frankford Line, and Broad Street Line.
The bus station is located near N 15th Street and John F Kennedy blvd; the area will serve from lines 17, 27, 31, 32, 33, 38, 44, 48, 62, 121, 124, 125 and C.

CHRISTMAS MARKETS
Inside the Love Park, about 80 stands are set up with food and wine products, handicrafts, precious objects, decorations and much more.
It officially starts on Thursday 23 November, on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day, from 09:00 to 17:00.
The markets are open every day, from Sunday to Thursday from 11:00 to 19:00; Friday and Saturday, from 11:00 to 20:00.
On 24/12, from 11:00 to 17:00.
EVENTS
Not just markets, at the Christmas Village. Throughout the period, there will be lots of events and activities scheduled, from November 18th to December 24th 2023.
During the weekend of 18 and 19 November, however, there will be a small appetizer of the Christmas Village.
Special events are scheduled every weekend in December.
Every Wednesday, from 16:00 to 18:00, it’s time for a HoHo Happy Hour. Mulled wine and two delicious Bratwursts at the German Grill.
Every Tuesday and Thursday in December, from 17:00 to 19:00, wine tastings and tasty dishes, in a welcoming atmosphere, in the Love Parks‘s Beer Garden Area
CHILDREN AT CHRISTMAS VILLAGE PHILADELPHIA 2023
As per tradition, there will be lots of activities dedicated to the little ones. Starting with the inevitable carousel, the suggestive Panoramic Wheel, and the Kids Train. Open every day, from Sunday to Thursday, from 11:00 to 19:00, Friday and Saturday from 11:00 to 20:00.
What holiday would it be without Santa Claus? To the delight of the little ones, at the Christmas Village there will also be the Santa House, with Santa Claus in the flesh, ready to give smiles and take pictures with your children.
From 08 to 24 December Santa House will be open every day, from Monday to Thursday, from 12:00 to 19:00; Friday and Saturday, 11am to 8pm; Sunday, from 11:00 to 19:00.
During the main events, and over the weekend, the “Phil the Reindeer” mascot will brighten up the day for the little ones.
WHERE TO SLEEP
Not far from Love Park, you will find numerous proposals to suit all budgets and needs.
