WHERE: London, United Kingdom.
WHEN: from 10 to 19 November 2023
In November, London becomes the capital of music with one of the most anticipated events of the year for fans: the London Jazz Festival. Created in 1992, on the ashes of Camden Jazz Week, the EFG has now, with good reason, carved out a prominent role in the world music scene. This year, moreover, we celebrate the thirtieth anniversary: one more reason not to miss it!
Today, it is undoubtedly one of the major international musical events. It is one of the main events in the capital and, probably, in the whole of the United Kingdom. The event is produced by Serious: a name, a guarantee. This is the famous jazz music producer, already known for having produced some editions of Camden Jazz Week.
From 10 to 19 November 2023, for 10 days, the London city celebrates Jazz in all its forms, sounds and colors. Ten fantastic days of music. There will be demonstrations, conferences, events and, above all, many concerts, many of which with FREE admission. London Jazz Festival manages to unite, in a skilful mix, world famous artists and emerging stars. Today, it is more than just a Festival.
Which city, better than London, could it have embodied the spirit and message that music brings with it? Such a deeply multicultural city; a city where past and present blend perfectly.
Every street, corner, square of the city, in this period, ….. emanates jazz music. From large concert halls such as the Barbican Center and the Royal Festival Hall, to small Jazz Clubs such as Ronnie Scott’s and Vortex Jazz Club. Anywhere in the city, you can experience the charm of music. Even the libraries and all potential public spaces are transformed for the occasion.
The well known The Guardian and The Independent celebrated the incredible success of the event. We are confident that the London Jazz Festival can be an excellent opportunity to discover another side of the city. One of the most beautiful and evocative capitals in the world.
