In the gastronomic field, the Foodies Festival has become a real point of reference for all enthusiasts and lovers of good food.
An extraordinary itinerant event that for 14 dates, during the summer, touches the most iconic places in the United Kingdom.
Edinburgh represents the first of the two stops in Scotland. For three days, visitors will be able to enjoy good music and excellent food, with many initiatives for adults and children, in the suggestive Inverleith Park. In this wonderful green lung, north of the capital, great British stars and the best Scottish chefs will cook sensational dishes and prepare amazing cakes.
From giant teapots to multi-storey restaurant buses, tents, live music and magical atmospheres, fun is guaranteed with the Edinburgh Food Festival 2025.
The best way to reach the Scottish capital, and the United Kingdom, is by plane. The international airport is very well connected, with direct flights, to the main European and non-European destinations.
Once you reach the centre, you can reach your destination by public transport.
The Edinburgh Food Festival takes place in Inverleith Park, about 3 kilometres north of the historic centre. The park is easily accessible by public transport.
Bus connections (lines 9, 23 and 27) from Victoria Street to Warriston Gardens, with a journey time of about 15 minutes and from South Bridge (line 8).
The Great Taste Market is the big news this year. A place to discover unique flavors and traditional foods curated by the Guild of Fine Food. Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in the Cake & Bake Theatre. At the Teatro La Espanola Chefs, meet Michelin-starred chefs and Masterchef stars. The Kids Cookery Theatre is the meeting place for all little chefs and children who love… making a mess!
There is no event worthy of respect without good music. There will be several bands to accompany your days at Inverleith Park. Friday 01 appointment with Symphoinic Ibiza. The following day, The Wanted 2.0. Closing Sunday 03 August with Scouting For Girls.
The Festival takes place over three days, during the weekend from 01 to 03 August, with the following opening hours:
Friday, from 14:00 to 22:00. Saturday, from 11:00 to 21:00. Sunday, from 11:00 to 20:00.
The ticket, valid for a single day on Saturday or Sunday, costs £21 full price, £8 reduced from 12 to 16 years and £5 for under 12s. On Friday, the full ticket costs £20. Two adults and two children, however, can purchase the family ticket, at a cost of £44 for the single day of their choice.
The Pass valid for the 3 days of the festival costs £44 per person.
There is also a VIP DAY TICKET, priced at £50 for a single day and £150 for the whole weekend. It includes a commemorative glass, access to exclusive areas, a private bar, a separate entrance, and more. A VIP family ticket costs £110 for a single day.
