WHERE: Munich, Germany
WHEN: from 23 November to 31 December 2023
From November to December, in the splendid setting of Theresienwiese, in Munich, the Tollwood Winterfestival returns, the winter edition of the renowned German festival.
Tollwood is one of the most important exhibitions in the country that combines art, music and culture, since 1991. Organized by Tollwood GmbH, it takes place twice a year in the Bavarian city. The Tollwood Winterfestival, is the winter appointment, while, the Sommerfestival, as the name implies, is the summer event, hosted at the Olympiapark in Munich.
The Festival has always stood out for the extraordinary cultural offer of music, theater, cabaret and art, with an eye to the environment and technology. This has earned him the biological certification of the gastronomic festival, from the winter 2003; while, in the 2006, “Bio for children” was developed, in collaboration with the Department of Health and the Environment of the City of Monaco. In addition, Tollwood GmbH is the protagonist of a real battle against intensive farming.
Tollwood Winterfestival is an event in which the lights and, above all, the colors are the dominant element. Here, you will be enveloped in the scents of tea, rosemary and spices; you will find many products from the fair trade market. And above all, you can stroll through the unique and cosmopolitan atmosphere of the area.
Tollwood Winterfestival is, indeed, an unmissable appointment. You will find the traditional Christmas markets, but above all, many events in the events: art, theater, cabaret, live shows. And, again, the WeltSalon, the market of ideas, the shows at the end of the year and… much more
