The center of Munich can be easily reached by public transport thanks to the presence of the two lines S-Bahn and as many stops: Besucherpark (visitor park) e Flughafen Terminal. For example, the S1 and S8 lines allow you to reach the Ostbahnhof station, Marienplatz, and the Hauptbahnhof central station.

The train station is located at the 02 level of the 1 Terminal. Considering that, in all likelihood, you are not alone, we recommend buying the advantageous AirporPLUS Ticket Gruppe. It costs 27.50€ and allows 5 adults to make unlimited trips throughout the day on the entire MVV network, including, of course, the journey to/from the airport. Keep in mind that a ticket for a single trip, valid for 4 zone, costs 14.50€ per person…. you do the math yourself whether you agree or not.

Tickets can be purchased at the numerous machines present at the airport, S-Bahn stations, and at points of sale displaying the MVV brand. At the airport and at the station, you can only buy tickets with a credit card.

CONNECTIONS FRANZ JOSEF STRAUSS AIRPORT – GERMANY

By bus you can reach the city and numerous destinations in Germany and Europe. The long-distance bus station is located a few steps from Terminal 2, at stops 21 and 22. Terminal 1 is only a 5-10 minute walk away. The stops are well signposted throughout the building and outside.
