Firenze Rocks 2025

Firenze Rocks is ready to take back the scepter of the best open-air festival in Italy. After the last few editions in a low-key way, this year the organizers have decided to focus on huge names from the international scene to return to the glories of the past.

In fact, over the years the festival has carved out a leading role in Italy, so much so that it has been compared to “sacred monsters” such as Rock Am Ring or Glastonbury (even!).

In past editions, artists of the caliber of Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Tool have performed on this stage… Also in these parts, Metallica, Red hot Chili Peppers and Muse made the fans of the Visarno Arena go wild.

So, for the 2025 edition, the organizers have opted for a lineup of extraordinary appeal, starting with the giants of world music: Guns ‘N Roses. For Axl, Slash and company, Florence will be the only Italian stop on the world tour “Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things“. Leading the way will be the Rival Sons, a Los Angeles quartet nominated for two Grammys.

Green Day and Korn are other names of absolute appeal, and they testify to the line followed by the festival, ready to battle with Independence Days for the scepter of best music festival in Italy.

HOW TO GET

Florence is easily accessible by plane, train, car, and even buses. The international airport of Florence is connected to the main European cities and capitals such as Amsterdam, London and Paris. From the airport, the BusItalia bus provides a connection to the center.

Those arriving by train will have to get off at the central station of Florence Santa Maria la Novella. From the city center, the Visarno Arena is easily accessible by public transport. We do not recommend using your car to get to the Le Cascine Park, well served by public transport. An option could also be the bicycle. In the center, you can find several rental agencies, and reach, in little more than 15 minutes, your destination.

The 17 bus, leaves from Piazza Adua, about 150 meters from the central train station, and leads to the location in about 15 minutes. You will have to get off at the Cascine stop. Alternatively, at the Cascine stop, the T1 line of the Tram service operates.
