WHERE: Florence, Italy
WHEN: 17 and 18 June 2023
Once upon a time Florence Rocks!! A festival that over the years has carved out a leading role in Italy to the point of being compared to “sacred monsters” such as Rock Am Ring or Glastonbury (even!).
Artists of the caliber of Guns N’Roses, Iron Maiden, Foo Fighters, Aerosmith, Tool have performed on this stage in past editions… Looking at the lineup and program, it seems like centuries have passed since Metallica, Red hot Chili Peppers and Muse rocked the fans at the Visarno Arena.
Yet it has only been a year.
Without taking anything away from the legendary British band The Who, this year will certainly not be an edition to remember. An incredibly reduced program which, moreover, has been halved in duration.
The 2023 edition will have The Who and Maroon 5 as headliners. Too little to retrace the glories of the glorious previous editions!
Florence is easily accessible by plane, train, car, and even buses. The international airport of Florence is connected to the main European cities and capitals such as Amsterdam, London and Paris. From the airport, the BusItalia bus provides a connection to the center.
Those arriving by train will have to get off at the central station of Florence Santa Maria la Novella. From the city center, the Visarno Arena is easily accessible by public transport. We do not recommend using your car to get to the Le Cascine Park, well served by public transport. An option could also be the bicycle. In the center, you can find several rental agencies, and reach, in little more than 15 minutes, your destination.
The 17 bus, leaves from Piazza Adua, about 150 meters from the central train station, and leads to the location in about 15 minutes. You will have to get off at the Cascine stop. Alternatively, at the Cascine stop, the T1 line of the Tram service operates.
This year the festival will take place in a reduced version, over the course of just two days. Here is the official lineup of the 2023 Festival:
The standard ticket to attend the concert on June 17, starts from 74.75€ (Green and Orange) at person. In the PIT (Orange) version, on the other hand, it starts at €92. On Sunday, however, the standard price is €57.50 per single seat. There are also special limited tickets VIP PACK SILVER, with which you will have access to a series of unique activities. You will be able to attend the concert, from a privileged position, under the stage; party with buffet, before the show; open bar after midnight; exclusive toilets, private car park and much more.

Firenze Rocks 2023 is the right opportunity to combine entertainment, entertainment and culture. In addition to watching extraordinary concerts, given the proximity of the center, you can spend more than a few hours in the city.
Furthermore, in Florence there is no lack of excellent quality / price structures in which to stay. If you love the Hostel solution, Hostel Archi Rossi is one of the best, about 3 kilometers from the Visarno Arena and not far from the train station. Moving from the center, however, you will find excellent hotels and apartments in Sesto Fiorentino, about 5 km from the Visarno Arena.
