Crossing Border Festival is one of the most important European events that combines international music and literature. For four days, from morning to evening, you can see around 80 artists and musicians from all over the world at work. An event not to be missed which, this year, celebrates its 31th anniversary and which can boast a twin edition in Antwerp (on 02 November 2023).
Giants of literature and emerging artists. Talented musicians from the pop and alternative scene. Workshop and activities. A program full of events not to be missed, in the center of The Hague. The main location for the evening events will be, as usual, the Korzo Theater.
More than 25 years have passed since the very first edition of the Crossing Bording Festival. After a brief interlude in Amsterdam, the Festival returned to its origins, obtaining its definitive consecration. Today, it thrills visitors of all ages, from all over Europe.
Due to its peculiarities, the Festival is suitable for everyone, including families.

The plane is the ideal solution to reach The Hague. Rotterdam International Airport is just over 20 kilometers away, well connected to the E subway line.
Location of the Crossing Border Festival will be, among other things, the Korzo Theater, BorderKitchen, De Koninklijke Schouwburg, Theater aan de Spui, Mauritshuis, KABK, Central Library, Zaal 3, Nest.. The offices are all central, not far from each other, and easily accessible on foot, by bike and by public transport. The latter are the preferable solution.
Those arriving with their own car can use the excellent Hoornwijck car park and, with the P + R ticket, can reach the center by tram and return by midnight.
It starts on Wednesday 01 November with the special inauguration evening. Thursday 02, appointment with “You’ll have to scream louder”. The best Flemish and Dutch stage talent at Zaal 3, Nest, with music, poems and words. From 19:00 to 01:00. Friday 03 the rich evening program of music and literature, at the Korzo Theater, from 18:00 to midnight.
Saturday 04, from 11:00 to 17:30 a rich program with domestic and foreign authors, and special events in numerous locations in The Hague: Theater aan het Spui, Zaal 3, Het Mauritshuis, BorderKitchen, Royal Academy of Art (KABK), Royal Theater and others. From 19:00 to midnight there will be a rich program of music and literature at the Korzo Theater and other locations.
The ticket to attend the show on Thursday 02 November costs €13.50 per person.
The ticket for the evening program on 03 or 04 November costs €31 per person. Alternatively, with the PASSEPARTOUT you can attend all the evening events on the bill on 03 and 04 November at a cost of €51.00 per person. For daytime shows, tickets for the single event must be purchased at a cost of €11.
Sleeping in Holland, notoriously, can be quite expensive. The rule also applies to The Hague. Especially for those wishing to stay in the center.

It is located in Grote Markt, in the lively center of The Hague, at 800 meters from Mauritshuis, and offers views of the city and a restaurant. There are also rooms with private toilets.
