WHERE: Isle of Wight, England.
WHEN: from 20 to 23 June 2024
Born in the distant 1968, the Isle Of Wight Festival celebrates 52 years of life.
Isle of Wight is a true paradise in the English Channel, just south of Southampton. A magical and evocative place, with many naturalistic and landscape attractions. And it is in this context that fits, to perfection, Isle Of Wight Festival, musical review of which the edition dated 1970 has become legendary.
It was the last European concert by Jim Morrison and the Doors, as well as Jimi Hendrix’s last show before his death.
Not just.
This, unfortunately, was also the last edition of the Festival that was forced, for various vicissitudes, to close its doors. Despite this, the Festival has always kept intact charm and power in the collective imagination. At 22 years away, the Festival has been reborn. Four days of Rock, Dj set and extraordinary areas, for a truly unforgettable Isle Of Wight Experience!
Names of great appeal and a truly unique location: the splendid Seaclose Park. A story of music and freedom. Here are the reasons why the Isle of Wight Festival continues to thrill. Even after 50 years!
