At the XIV edition, the Cheese Festival, one of the most important international events dedicated to raw milk cheeses and dairy products. An exhibition that takes place every two years in odd years in the Italian municipality of Bra.

It is an event of international appeal, which boasts the presence of well-300 exhibitors from 23 different nations. The latest edition was a success beyond any rosy prediction, with over 250000 visitors!
At Cheese 2023, headlights focused on raw milk and natural cheeses, without industrial ferments.
Tradition, handicraft production, biodiversity, respect for animals and, consequently, for a whole territory. These are just some of the founding elements of the event.
As per tradition, the Cheese takes place along the streets, streets and squares of the splendid historic center of Bra. Waiting for you, stands, workshops, spaces of the
Taste, bookshops and even cinemas. A really busy program of events.
And here, then, the Cheese Market, the Great Hall of Cheeses and the Enoteca, the Pizza Square, the street kitchens, the Beer Square. And, furthermore, Spazio Libero, in which you will find a wide selection of cheeses, cured meats, wines and natural breads, produced without the use of additives, ferments, nitrites and nitrates. As the organizers say: there is always something to do, to know, to taste!

Cheese is not just a gastronomy festival. Participating means, above all, showing profound empathy towards the values of which the Festival is the spokesperson. Because it is from tradition, from respect and, from the love of the territory and, consequently, for oneself, that beautiful things are born.

HOW TO GET

Turin, is just under 60 km from Bra. By opting for air travel, you need to land at the Turin-Caselle international airport, well connected to the main European destinations. By train, you need to reach the Turin-Lingotto railway station from where the train to Bra leaves.
The best solution is to rent a car directly at the airport. In this case, you would have more options available to you, like Milan-Linate or the port of Genoa.

CHEESE 2023 TICKETS AND OPENING HOURS

Admission is free. Some events, such as Table Appointments and Taste Workshops, include an entry ticket, often sold-out. There are also initiatives reserved exclusively for slow food members.
The event takes place, from Friday to Sunday, from 10 to 24; Monday, from 10 to 20:30.

The Italian and international market and the Via dei Presìdi, are open every 4 days, from 10am to 20:30. Street kitchens, food trucks, Piazza della Birra and Piazza della Pizza, on the other hand, are open from Friday to Sunday, from 12 midnight, and on Monday from 12 to 20:30. Slow Food House is open until Sunday, from 10:00 to 21:00; Monday until 20:30
