Tired of the usual holidays, all sun, sea and beaches? Want to escape the oppressive heat of the city? The Europe of the North is ideal in August, thanks to a rather pleasant climate.
The protagonist of the month is Finland which, during the first week of July, hosts the Weekend Festival. This year’s edition will feature the town of Espoo, only 10 km from Helsinki.
Born in 2012, today it is the reference point in the European EDM (Electronic Dance Music) panorama. An event that attracts thousands of fans, thanks to a line-up of extraordinary impact that unites guests of international renown with emerging Finnish artists.
The result is a fresh, young and fun festival that ranges over numerous genres of electronic music. A particularly beloved and successful event which, over the years, has received several awards. Of these, a nomination for Best Medium-sized Festival at the 2013 European Festival Awards along with some “sacred monsters”. In the same year, YleX listeners voted for him as the best summer festival in Europe.
The 2023 edition (Time Machine) will mark a return to origins. and it’s going to do it in a really big way by bringing together the most important DJs from all over the planet!

Access is allowed only to children over the age of 15. Minors can only enter if accompanied by an adult. Alcohol will NOT be served to children under the age of 18. Some areas and events will be accessible only to adults.
At the entrance you will need to show a valid identification document.
It is not allowed to enter with objects considered dangerous. It is forbidden to bring drugs into the area. The wifi line is available in many areas of the Weekend Festival. Keep in mind that, as it is used by many visitors, the speed could be extremely slow.
Helsinki International Airport is connected to the main European and non-European destinations. This is Finland’s main airport, located about 20 km from the capital.
The location of the event will be the Vermo Areena of Espoo (Valjakkotie 1, 02600 Espoo) located about 10 km from Helsinki. The arena is well connected to the capital by bus (line 200) and train (Mäkkylän asema). All you need to do is buy a ticket for a single journey for zone AB at a cost of €3.10 per person
The 2023 edition will certainly go down in history due to the presence of the most important international guests on the planet from the EDM scene. Here is the complete lineup:

By purchasing in advance, you can get interesting discounts. Keep in mind that, close to the event, it is very probable that the tickets are all sold out.
