Among the Vienna public transport tickets, EasyCityPass is the most advantageous and popular all-inclusive solution for tourists. Available in cuts of 24, 48 or 72 hours, it allows you to make unlimited journeys with all the means of the Wiener Lienen, for the established time. A child up to 15 years of age travels for free with the adult in possession of a valid City Card.

There are also similar solutions, which vary by audience and offer. The Queer CityPass, for example, offers the same features, but is suitable for those wishing to get LGBT experiences: the discounts offered, in fact, are for clubs and attractions related to the theme. It might come in handy, for example, during Vienna Pride!
Those who intend to move around Vienna sporadically can purchase tickets valid for a single ride , at a cost of €2.40. Tickets are valid on all trams, buses and underground lines of public transport in Vienna. Each endorsed ticket is valid FOR ONE DIRECTION ONLY, until the destination is reached, including any change of line (even several times).
The day ticket (1 tag Wien), is valid from the moment of validation until 01:00 at night, and costs 5.80 €. It is not to be confused with the 24 hour ticket. To travel on all means of the network, there are also tickets valid for 24, 48 and 72 hours. They allow you to take advantage of unlimited access, for the chosen time. The 24h ticket allows you to travel for 24 hours from the first validation and costs €8.00 per person.
48-hour ticket for the whole network: €14.10.
72-hour ticket for the whole network: €17.10.
The weekly ticket (Wochenkarte) could be very convenient, allowing you to travel from midnight on Monday to 21:00 on the following Monday. It should be noted, however, that if you were to use it, for example, on Thursday, it will always be valid by the following Monday. It costs 17.10€

You can buy tickets in classic sales points, such as stations, info points, airports, shops. For printed tickets, the 24, 48 or 72h start from the moment of the first validation.
Alternatively, you can also use the official WienMobile App available for iOS and Android; in this case the ticket will only be available on your device and the validity will be that indicated at the time of purchase.
