London Heathrow is London’s main airport, about 30 km away. It is located south of the capital and is one of the busiest airports in the world. British Airways hub and Virgin Atlantic, owned by Heathrow Airport Holdings.
Four, are the Terminals present. T2 is the most recent, opened in 2014, it is also known as Queen’s Terminal. T1, on the other hand, was closed in June 2015. London Heathrow is a sort of city within the city. Modern and efficient, it is equipped with all the services and comforts. Metro, train, bus, shuttles. Reaching central London from London Heathrow Airport is really simple. The choice, inevitably, is exclusively subjective.
The best, and fastest, way to reach central London from London Heathrow airport. And not only. By booking in advance on the official website, you may be lucky enough to buy tickets less than a ride on the tube!
Heathrow Express offers a direct connection to Paddington station in just 15 minutes. The frequency of the rides is approximately 15 minutes. Trains depart from the airport every day from 05:07 (first run) to approximately 23:40 (last run); on Sundays, first service at 06:00. From Paddington, runs Monday to Saturday, 05:10 to 23:25; Sunday, first run at 06:10.
Trains depart from all airport terminals, except T4. From the latter, however, a special FREE transfer service connects the Terminal with Heathrow Central Station (T2 and T3).
A single ticket costs £25 but by booking in advance on the official website you can save up to 78% and you can pay just £5.50 for a single ticket.
London Heathrow is served by the PICCADILLY underground line, which stops at Terminals T2, T3 and T5. The first two Terminals have a single stop, located in the centre. The metro runs every day, including holidays, from the airport from 05:02 to 23:45. From London, to the airport, first service at 05.40 and last service at 00.22. On Fridays and Saturdays, the night service is guaranteed until around 03:00.
The metro takes just under an hour to reach the centre.

In our opinion, they are the ideal solution if your destination is not central London. National Express offer modern and comfortable coaches at major London airports, including London Heathrow. Prices are not very high, and, above all, direct connections are guaranteed.
From London Heathrow, you can go directly to Birmingham (£33.10), Bristol (£12.50), Leicester (£17.40), Northampton (£26.40) or Portsmouth (£17.40). The ticket allows the transport of one piece of hand luggage and two medium/large bags up to 20kg each. Guaranteed seating.
Buses stop at all Terminals. 5 platforms are located at T2/T3. At T4, buses are located at stops 13 and 14, in the Arrivals area. At T5, the buses are located at stops 15 and 16.
