Let yourself be enchanted by the thousand neon lights that invade the city; the dancers on the premises; the attractive Croupiers at the gaming tables. This place is surprisingly “Huge” (giant) as Americans often exclaim. Here, everything is built following various styles or themes around the world, with replicas of cities or monuments.
So, in a short time, you will be in Italy, aboard a real gondola, with gondoliers singing for you. You can take a picture between large statues of Caesar, and the famous Colosseum; or, take a trip to Lake Como. Just a few steps, and you’ll be in New York instead, admiring the Statue of Liberty and the legendary Brooklyn Bridge. Don’t worry: you are always in Nevada. Probably the builders here have had much more imagination, what a taste!
The journey into the city begins with the choice of accommodation. Leave your bags at the hotel, you can relax while enjoying a cocktail, and aiming a few coins at the casino of your hotel. The first stop to visit Las Vegas can only start from The Strip.
This is a road about 6 km long, starting in Russel Road. From here, towards the north, you will begin to cross the most important hotels and casinos. The Strip is also the street where, warm weather permitting, thousands of tourists flock from one side of the road to the other. Mandalay Bay, Excalibur, New York New York, Aria, Cosmopolitan, Bellagio are reviewed. On the opposite side, however, you will find the large MGM hotel. Then many stores of the most famous brands: Adidas, Coca Cola, M & M’s, a mega Hard Rock of 2 floors; further on you can have a bite to eat at the legendary Harley Davidson Café restaurant.
Continuing on the left, you will find Caesar Palace, the Mirage, the Treasure Island. Nearby are Planet Hollywood, Paris, The Venetian and the Palace, the Wynn & Encore, Sahara. This incredible Las Vegas thoroughfare ends at Fremont Street.
Walking around the Strip, it’s easy to come across lots of characters disguised as icons of American cinema. With a couple of dollars you can take funny pictures with the stars of Star Trek, Iron Man, Michael Jackson, and many others.
VISIT LAS VEGAS: THE RESORT
The Wynn & Encore is a 5-star Casino-Resort, located along the Strip, owned by Steve Wynn. It was conceived from the outset to surpass in magnitude and luxury the Mirage, the Treasure Island and the Bellagio, former creations of the magnate. The hotel has 2,715 rooms of which. Some of them even reach dimensions of 600m²

THE VENETIAN
The Venetian Resort hotel and casino is owned by the Las Vegas Sand Corporation, and is the largest 5-star hotel in the United States. It is entirely inspired by the city of Venice.
The bell tower of San Marco and the Rialto bridge are faithfully reproduced in the area in front of the entrance to the Venetian.
An artificial lake continues inside the structure, with a canal that divides the shopping center area into two; is traced by faithful reproductions of the traditional Venetian Gondolas, ruled as in reality, with lots of gondoliers singing successes in Italian history. This huge room has a restaurant in the middle of a small square, with a reproduction of a sky.
The pool area and the wellness area occupies a total area of 6,400 square meters!
The Venetian is a city in the city, and to visit it entirely it takes almost a day. A stone’s throw from San Marco Square, an adjacent structure, even houses Madame Tussauds; take lots of pictures. The Venetian style that is reproduced in this complex is amazing: a great little Venice in the Nevada desert!
The numbers are impressive: the hotel has 4,049 rooms and a casino of 11,000 square meters. Together with the adjacent Sands Expo Convention Center and The Palazzo Hotel and Casino Resort, the Venetian is the largest hotel complex in the world, with 7,128 rooms.
To visit Las Vegas, remember that international parties are organized every weekend; Clubbing, in these parts, in recent years has become an industry in its own right, with event calendars and Ibiza-style discos!
The Tao Club is located on the first floor of the Venetian. At the entrance, Asian girls are waiting for you in small pools with rose petals. Like many high-level clubs in Las Vegas the selection is very accurate at the entrance. The parties take place upstairs. Also at the Tao Club great international DJs perform: Martin Solveig, Dj Snake, Erik Morillo, David Guetta, Calvin Harris and many others; definitely an unmissable experience if you happen to be in these parts, especially during the weekend!

CAESAR PALACE
The Caesar Palace, entirely inspired by the Roman leader Giulio Cesare, was inaugurated on August 5th 1966; is located along the Strip.
Made even more famous throughout the world after the success of The Hangover, the Caesar Palace boasts the reputation of being one of the best hotels in the world, albeit awarded only 4 stars (!!).
Caesars Palace is owned by Harrah’s Entertainment, one of the world’s leading casino hotel chains. It has 3,349 rooms divided into 5 towers: Augustus, Centurion, Forum, Palace, and Roman; built in a style that recalls the Roman Empire.
It often hosts shows and sporting events, including boxing or wrestling matches (the IX edition of Wrestlemania was very successful). Here, many concerts are organized with world-famous artists who have performed in the famous Colosseum (the Caesar theater); Celine Dion, Elton John, Cher, Frank Sinatra are just some of the great artists who went on stage.
The main entrance is impressive, with the Hall being among the largest in Las Vegas. In the 15,000 square meters of the Casino area, you can try your luck. Don’t miss the Caesar Palace Forum Shop: an endless gallery of shops and boutiques of the biggest names!

BELLAGIO
The Bellagio is a 5-star hotel located along the Strip, not far from the Caesar. Many scenes from the famous “Ocean’s Eleven” film have been immortalized in this hotel.
The style is inspired by the landscape of Lake Como. the very name of the structure takes the name of the homonymous Italian village.

PARIS PARIS
The Paris Paris dominates the city skyline. There is no photo or shooting, especially from above, where there is not this charming 4-star hotel, inaugurated on 01 September 1999.
The theme of the resort is the city of Paris, and includes a replica of the 165-meter Eiffel Tower (half of the original) and a reproduction of the Arc de Triomphe.

MGM GRAN HOTEL
The Resort is located at the end of the Strip. It belongs to the MGM Grand Resort and the famous Metro Golden Mayer film company, whose logo (the lion’s head) is present everywhere in the structure; at the main entrance, the owners built a mega bronze statue depicting a lion, 45 feet tall, weighing 100,000 pounds, supported by a 25 foot high marble base. This is the tallest bronze statue in the United States.
The theme of the MGM Grand is Hollywood. It is composed of several buildings, of which the main one contains 5,000 rooms and is almost 100 meters high. The Casino is the largest in the area. You will also find 5 swimming pools connected by ducts with artificial waterfalls covering the surface of 6.6 acres. It is indeed an immense structure; even the MGM Arena, several times during the year, hosts Boxing matches valid for the world championships and many events related to Wrestling.
The MGM Grand is also the home of the world-famous show: the Cirque du Soleil.
This hotel is especially famous for events related to Nightlife; in fact, Wet Republic, is the large pool that hosts all the Weekend, the Ultra Pool Party. Many DJs perform, including, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Hardwell, Tiesto; what characterizes the Wet Republic, is the special Sound issued by one of the best facilities in America, and the chance to meet Hollywood celebrities!
In the MGM Grand there is the Hakkasan Club, one of the most recent and most beautiful clubs in the city; here, every week, incredible evenings with very important DJs are organized. Punctually, every Friday and Saturday, Hakkasan, one of the most popular clubs in the United States, is stormed.
MANDALAY BAY
The Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino is a 4-star luxury hotel, owned by MGM Mirage of multibillionaire Kirk Kerkorian.
It has 3,309 rooms, and has 24 elevators; the casino is among the largest in the city, extending over an area of 12,500 meters. Next to this building you can find the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, a 93,000 meter structure that often hosts conventions, exhibitions, concerts and sporting events such as boxing matches, wrestling and martial arts; indeed, it also hosted the famous Mamma Mia show!

The luxury hotels we have described are the best and the most famous, as well as those where there are so many attractions. However, there are others, of which at least one mention is right. The Luxor, proposes the theme of Egypt, entirely in the shape of a pyramid; the Treasure Island, famous for its huge pool and an aquarium with Dolphins, where you can watch a curious show. The Mirage, on the other hand, is famous for a characteristic park with 1200 palm trees and the reproduction of a veritable volcano more than 16 meters high, and from whose slopes 119,000 gallons of water per minute flow. Here, every evening after sunset, every 15 minutes, the volcano simulates an eruption with lots of lava and real flames; lots of people come to watch the show.
VISITING LAS VEGAS: ACTIVITIES
Among the many things to do while visiting Las Vegas, don’t miss the Palms Resort, and the Fantasy Tower. On the 54th floor, you will be lucky enough to sip a drink at the Moon Club. Leaving the elevator, you will just have to walk a few meters, until, in front of you, you will see a half-moon shaped terrace overlooking the whole city; you will see a unique Skyline, probably less known than other discos, but really incredible! Another high level Buffet is the one offered by the Wynn, always along the Strip; you can enjoy excellent dishes in a very large room, with flowers and diamonds everywhere. There are many “Live Cooking” stations, and, although it is among the most expensive, it is still quite convenient; at the Wynn, you will find 15 locations, including one offering the freshest seafood, and the Mexican corner.
GORDON RAMSEY PUB
Burger is one of Gordon Ramsay’s three famous restaurants in the city; the great British starred chef, opened three restaurants in Nevada. Burger is present in the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino; it is a very trendy place that offers really good American specialties, revisiting the classic Burger with really excellent side dishes and sauces. Everything is very innovative: in the Weekend you might find a little in a row; clearly the prices are slightly high. An example? Ordering a burger with chips and soft drink starts at over $ 25 each; in any case you are in Vegas, and at least once in your life, it’s worth tasting the recipes of the great Gordon Ramsay!
