Abbotts Langley is a civil parish in the county of Hertfordshire, of just 10,000 souls.
A place that until a few years ago few would have dreamed of visiting.
Yet, today, the small town is a favorite destination for adults, families and children. The reason is obvious: the wonderful Harry Potter Studios were inaugurated right here on 31 March 2012, among the largest film studios in the whole of the United Kingdom.
WHAT TO SEE AT THE HARRY POTTER STUDIOS
Currently operational, the Studios have hosted, among other things, the filming of blockbusters such as Batman, Star Wars and Mission: Impossible. But, more than anything else, the Studios were the “home” of the entire Harry Potter saga. And today you will have the opportunity to experience an exciting journey that will take you behind the scenes of the series, in the heart of the enchanted world recreated with the original sets, costumes and special effects.
You will be able to discover the very jealously guarded secrets on the special effects and animatronics that have made this saga so popular all over the world. All eight films in the series have been faithfully reproduced.
Of course, there are also shopping areas and refreshment points where you can even taste the legendary Butterbeer!
