There are several ways to get to the city center from the Airport.
BUS
Outside the Terminal, you will find the bus station. At the airport you have difficulty getting to the stop: the signs are clearly visible.
We recommend using public transport from ZET, the local transport company.
The 290 bus connects, every 30 minutes, airport and downtown, from Velika Gorica to Kvaternikov TRG; the latter is an important transport hub.
The line is active every day, from Monday to Saturday, from 04:20 to 23:25 from Kvaternikov, and from 04:30 to 00:15 from Velika Gorica. On Sundays, the service starts an hour later and ends at the same times.
The ticket costs 15HRK and can be purchased at authorized machines and merchants displaying the ZET brand.
Alternatively, you can use the shuttle shuttle (Pleso Prjevoz). Efficient and modern, it connects Zagreb Airport every day with the bus station in the center of the capital. The ticket costs 45kn per person.
CAR
At the airport you can rent a car and reach the center in about 20 minutes, traffic permitting.
From this link you can make a comparison between the various rental agencies in the airport. In this way you can find your car at the best available price.
TAXI
The taxi rank is located on the ground floor, opposite the Arrivals Terminal. The indications are clear and clearly visible at the airport.
The cost of a ride to the center is around the 250HRK (about 33€). In the case of bulky luggage, you will have to pay a supplement.
Make sure, in advance, of the fare, and choose only official taxis.
