The Calanques National Park is a spectacular stretch that stretches for about 20 kilometers from Marseille to Cassis.
REACH TO CALANQUES FROM CASSIS
An undemanding path of a couple of kilometers allows you to reach to Calanques.
From the port of Cassis you can reach it on foot in just under 30 minutes, passing through the Plage du Bestouan.
Port-Miou is the first of the 3 Calanques that you meet along the way. In another 15 minutes you will arrive at Port-Pin and, further away, the Calanque d’En-Vau.
HOW TO REACH TO CALANQUES FROM MARSEILLE
Buses, or alternatively, bikes are the best options to get to the Calanques.
Marseille buses are quite reliable and not particularly expensive. It should also be emphasized the great sensitivity towards the environment, with the introduction of the first 100% electric line.
Coming from Marseille you will have no difficulty in reaching the most important Calanques and beaches of the National Park by bus.
Many Calanques are not easily accessible. Often, you will have to walk for at least 40 minutes before arriving at your destination.
This is why it is good to inform yourself in advance of the route, so as not to be unprepared. Especially with regard to clothing, water and food.

ARRIVE BY BIKE
Those who wish can reach some of the main entrances of the Calanques by bike. There are also some specific cycle paths, such as the one from Place Castellane to the Luminy campus.
ACCESSIBILITY
The Calanchi Park is not accessible to people with walking difficulties due to the uneven terrain.
The only exceptions are the Badlands of Morgiou and
Sormiou where it is possible to arrive by car and access for the first initial part with the wheelchair.
An excellent solution is represented by the certified “Esprit Parc National” boats that offer boat trips to the Calanchi Park for people in wheelchairs.
