Zracna luka Split Kaštela, is the international airport located on the Adriatic coast, near the town of Kaštela. It is located 25 km from Split and is the second largest airport in Croatia in terms of passenger traffic. In 2024, over 3 million passengers passed through here!
Croatia Airlines, the national airline, offers direct connections to the main European cities including London, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Rome and Paris. During the summer period, the greatest influx of passengers is recorded… and it could not be otherwise, considering that the majority of holidaymakers choose this destination especially in the warmer months.
In 2019, the airport modernization project was completed, bringing the overall capacity of the Terminal to 5 million passengers!
At the airport you will find refreshment points, shops and duty free inside the boarding area with over 1000 m2 of space for your purchases. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the Terminal.

There is a taxi rank outside the arrivals terminal. If you are traveling with your family or in a group, taking a taxi to/from Split Kastela airport may not be a very expensive solution. Make sure you know the price beforehand.
Renting a car is a great solution if you intend to visit Split and the surrounding areas. There are numerous rental agencies at the airport. Avax, from the experience of friends, is an excellent agency that offers clear and transparent prices and the possibility of renting a car without a deposit or credit card (only with Full inclusive insurance).
