Located near Tarragona, in the beautiful Costa Daurada, PortAventura World is one of the most important in Europe, among theme parks.
Born in 1994, the Park has been extremely successful, so much so as to be one of the major competitors of the Disney brand. Today, it is permanently in the Top 10 of the most visited theme parks in Europe, with around 4 million people every year.
PortAventura World is much more than just a park. It is a real resort with 6 hotel and three theme parks. In addition to PortAventura, the offer was expanded in the following years by the Ferrari Land and Caribe Aquatic Park. The first is a splendid park dedicated to the Ferrari brand. OPENING HOURS
The Park and Ferrari Land, are open every day from the end of March to the beginning of November, and during the period of the Christmas holidays. From November to December 23, the two parks are open exclusively during the weekend.
Timetables differ depending on the period, the day is on holidays. The normal timetable of the two Parks is from 10:00 to 19:00. In summer and on weekends, closing time is often postponed to 23:00 and sometimes to 01:00. After the 19:00, generally, evening shows and shows are scheduled, which require an additional ticket.
PortAventura Caribe Aquatic Park is only open during the summer. For schedules and the calendar it is advisable to have a look at the official website.

PORTAVENTURA TICKETS
The standard ticket for PortAventura Park, valid for one day, costs 48.00€. It applies to adults and children from 11 years up, regardless of height. Children aged 3 up to 10 years old, and over 60, pay the reduced rate of €40.00. You will avoid the long lines at the ticket offices.
Admission to the PortAventura Caribe Water Park costs 29.00€ in the standard version and 25.00 € in the reduced version. The standard ticket for Ferrari Land, instead, it costs 20.00 € for the standard version and 16.00€ for the reduced version. In addition to the tickets, there are the comfortable PASS. It is an extremely convenient and convenient solution to visit PortAventura Park and Ferrari Land in one or more days. You can choose from 3 different types:
- 1 Pass Day 2 Parks, 55.00€ standard and 47.00€ reduced.
- 2 Pass Days 2 Parks, 60.00€ and 52.00€ reduced.
- 3 Pass Days 2 Parks, 80.00€ standard and 65.00€ reduced.
There are also special packages that include access to one of the parks and transport from Barcelona.
SERVICES
The Park offers many services suitable for all needs. Who was in the company of their animal friends, can leave their faithful friend in the appropriate area, with qualified personnel. The rate is €6.00 per day. You will need to bring an animal health certificate.
Special lockers and lockers are located in different points of the parks, with rates starting from €1. You can store your belongings without having to worry about bringing them with you on the attractions. And, again, possibility to rent single strollers, double and motorized wheelchairs. PASS EXPRESS
Are you allergic to files and would you like to avoid queues at attractions? Unless you are willing to spend quite high figures (especially for a family), you will have to use some minor precautions. We recommend avoiding weekends and public holidays, usually quite crowded. If possible, book your holiday during the week, perhaps during the months when schools are still open. Try to arrive as soon as you open the park, directing you to the most famous attractions.
Otherwise, you will have to stand in line, or buy the express pass. In this case, there are different types. For PortAventura Park, we start from a minimum of €33.00 per person for the Max version, to a maximum of well 58.00€ for the Premium Gold version. Pass prices, of course, are added to those of the admission ticket. If you are in the family, do a bit ‘of accounts: it could be a drain!
