DRESDEN AIRPORT – CENTER CONNECTIONS
The German airport is well served by public transport, and is also the terminus of line 2 of the Dresden S-Bahn suburban railway. On train, bus and tram, the same rate is applied, within 60 minutes of validation. You can buy the Einzelfahrt ticket, valid for a 60′ journey. It costs €2.50 per adult, and €1.70 reduced. For groups of 4, the 4er-Karte ticket is also available, at a cost of €9.00.
In our opinion, the train is the best solution. With the S2 line, you can reach the central railway station (Dresden HBF) in just 20 minutes. To take the suburban railway, just follow the appropriate directions, and get off at the lower level of the terminal. Buses 77 and 80, which are stationed outside the entrance to the Terminal, represent, exclusively, an alternative solution. Buses connect Infineon factory and ElbePark shopping Center respectively.
Tickets can be purchased at automatic machines, at bus stops and at the information desk in the Arrivals Hall of the Terminal.
