Bastia Poretta is the city’s international airport, located in the municipality of Lucciana, about 20 km south of the city. It is among the top 20 airports in France for passenger traffic. During the year, direct connections are guaranteed exclusively with Geneva and the major cities of France.
All essential services are guaranteed inside the Terminal, including free WIFI and, for the little ones, changing areas (specially indicated) inside the bathrooms. You will also find some bars, shops and a DUTY FREE inside the boarding area.
For the elderly and those who require special assistance, a special dedicated service is available (reservation required).

Outside the Terminal (arrivals side) there is a taxi rank. The service is managed by the local company Corsica-Taxis which always offers clear and transparent rates, with the possibility of booking your ride directly online. To reach the center of Bastia, the price is around €50 on weekdays and around €66 in the evenings and on weekends and holidays.
Those who prefer can rent a car directly at the airport. Our advice is to book online in advance to guarantee you the cheapest rate.
From the airport, approximately every 30 minutes, a shuttle leaves for the center of Bastia, near the Central Railway Station (Terminus Bastia Gare) and vice versa. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. The ticket, which can be purchased directly from the driver, costs €10 per person.
From June to October the Rapid Blues bus is active which connects Bastia Airport with Porto Vecchio. Two daily connections are guaranteed from the airport at 08.30 and 16.00, and from Porto Vecchio at 08.00 and 13.00. The bus takes approximately 3 hours. Tickets can be purchased directly on board the vehicle.
