Venice Marco Polo is an international airport named after the famous Venetian explorer, located about 13 km from the city center. It quickly became one of the reference points for air traffic in Northern Italy, with more than 1,000 weekly connections to the main national, European and intercontinental destinations.

The public area is structured on three floors. The arrivals terminal is on the ground floor, while the departures are on the first floor; there are numerous bars, shops and eateries, as well as numerous branches and offices.
