Formentera is a real paradise, a perfect destination for those seeking relaxation, privacy, snorkeling, and a less “damned” and party atmosphere of nearby Ibiza. It is the ideal place to enjoy excellent fresh fish dishes, take long walks, or watch suggestive sunsets. And of course, the right place to go shopping.
During your holiday, you will get to know many markets where you can do some good business and buy typical products. In our opinion, one of the most interesting places is the Hippie market on Wednesdays and Sundays. It takes place in the picturesque village of Pilar de La Mola. From here, for many, this market is simply La Mola.
The market is set up in full hippie style. Turning among the many stalls present, you will be able to buy a little of everything; from handmade jewelry with precious and natural products by local artists, to costume jewelery; from hand-knitted wool sweaters, to many other characteristic craft items. In our opinion, it is an appointment not to be missed, especially for a visit to the characteristic village of La Mola.
