HAND LUGGAGE

Each person, with a standard ticket, can carry one piece of hand baggage, up to a maximum size of 55x40x20 cm, including handles and wheels. The maximum weight allowed is 10kg.
Along with hand baggage, you can also carry a handbag of no more than 35x20x20cm size free of charge.
IT IS IMPORTANT never to exceed the dimensions, or the maximum weight allowed. Otherwise, your baggage will be transported in the hold at a cost of well 60€ per package !!

HOLD BAGGAGE TO FLY WITH VOLOTEA

By deciding to travel with Volotea, you can carry in the hold, up to 5 luggage, with a standard weight up to 20kg.
Each passenger has a total limit of 50kg for all hold baggage.
The price of checked baggage varies according to country of origin, destination and season. It starts from a minimum of € 15 per baggage, booking online or via the call center, and 20€ at the airport. Remember, however, that you can always add inline, luggage to your reservation, within 150′ from the departure of the flight.
Also for hand baggage, remember to respect the permitted limits. For each kg in excess, you will have to pay 12€. In any case, baggage over 32kg will not be accepted.

SPECIAL EQUIPMENT TO FLY WITH VOLOTEA

Special baggage can be carried on board the flights. These include musical instruments or sports equipment such as surfboards, snowboards, windsurfing sails, golf bags, bicycles … The maximum weight allowed for special baggage is 32 kg.
The cost is €60, in the case of booking via the web and through the call center. At the airport, however, the price is €80.

ANIMALS ON BOARD

Traveling with Volotea means, also, not having to give up the company of their animals. The carrier, in fact, allows the transport of dogs and cats on board their aircraft. The only exception is flights to / from Ireland, Malta and the United Kingdom: in this case the transport of the animal is always prohibited.

The animal must be placed in a homologated non-rigid carrier, with a maximum size of 50x40x20 cm, and total weight of 8 kg (carrier + animal).
No other animals other than dogs and cats are allowed.
Keep in mind that on each flight, you can travel at most 2 animals. Once this limit is exceeded, the system will not allow you to make a reservation for your friend at 4 zampe.
Pets are allowed if vaccinated and with all the documentation and health certificate available. Also, they must have at least 8 weeks of life.
The transport price is €39 each way, booking via the web or call center. At the airport, you pay €60.
