Santiago Rosalía de Castro, is an international airport, located in the small municipality of Lavacolla. It is the largest airport in all of Galicia, just 16 kilometers from Santiago de Compostela; passenger traffic of over 2 million people is recorded every year!

CITY
The Tralusa bus (Line 6A) connects Santiago de Compostela Airport every day with the center (Plaza Galicia) and the train station. The bus also stops in San Marcos, San Lázaro, San Caetano, Pastoriza, San Roque, Pza. Galicia, Rúa da Rosa, Hórreo (estación).
The bus operates from Monday to Sunday, including holidays, from approximately 07:00 to 23:00. The frequency varies from 20 to 30 minutes.
You travel with an ordinary ticket at a cost of €1.00 per person. It can be purchased directly on board the vehicle.
Alternatively, as soon as you leave the Terminal, you will find the taxi rank. A standard flat rate of €21 applies to reach the center of Santiago.
GALICIA CONNECTIONS
BUS
With the Monbus lines you can easily reach the main destinations directly from Santiago de Compostela Airport.
To Lugo (bus station) it takes just under 2 hours, with prices starting from €9.10 per person. For Sobrado (Monday to Friday only), connections in one hour, with tickets from €5.05. For A Coruna, however, it takes just an hour. The ticket costs €6.55. On the official website you can take advantage of attractive discounted rates of 50% (non-refundable and limited number).
TRAIN
The Tralusa/Tussa bus allows you to easily reach the train station. From the latter depart the RENFE/Alvia trains direct to the main destinations in Galicia. To reach A Coruna, it takes less than 30 minutes by fast train and about 40 minutes by regional train. The prices for a full one-way ticket are, respectively, €7.60 and €6.30. From Santiago de Compostela Station, it is also possible to reach Sarria and Lugo, changing at Ourense. For Ourense, the journey time is approximately 40 minutes. The journey from Ourense to Sarria, on the other hand, takes about an hour; from Sarria, to reach Lugo, it takes just under 30 minutes.
