Given the conformation and the small size, there are no particular climatic differences throughout the territory. Qatar’s climate can be considered desert, characterized by hot, sunny summers and relatively mild winters.
During the summer, temperatures can exceed 40°, with the minimum reaching around 30/32°. It is characteristic of the months from June to August, with scorching heat and particularly sultry days. In this period you can spend long days at sea!
In summer, use only light clothing made from natural fabrics. Linen is undoubtedly the best fabric for men and women. The latter, to move around the city, must avoid miniskirts and shorts.
In case of excessive heat and mugginess, it is better to take cover with a desert hat or turban!
Always remember to bring bottled water with you. NEVER DRINK water from the tap
Winter is a really favorable period, because the days become bearable, with pleasant temperatures, around 23/24°. You can spend beautiful evenings, taking walks in the cool. Temperatures are never too cold.
Also in this case it is advisable to pack light clothing, a windbreaker or a. Lightweight sweater for the evenings. Even the scarf can help in case of wind.
In our opinion, winter is the best time to go to Qatar.
Especially if you don’t like the cold, and you want to spend your winter holidays away from too cold temperatures.
Rains and storms in Qatar are extremely rare. Just beware of sandstorms, which can occur during the summer, sometimes with repercussions on public transport as well.

The period from late November to February is undoubtedly the best time to go to Qatar. December can be considered the best month, without detracting from the others. The temperatures are really pleasant, both during the day and in the evening.
It is no coincidence that the next FIFA 2022 World Cup takes place between November and December.
Every month is good to visit Doha and Qatar, thanks to the sunshine present all year round. July and August, although optimal for spending holidays by the sea, are not recommended for visiting the city. Especially in the hottest hours, when you have to deal with the heat and scorching heat.
