CHRISTMAS MARKETS IN RAPPERSWILL
Although it takes place over 18 days (from 01 to 18 December), the highlight of Christmas in Rapperwil is from Thursday 08 to Sunday 11 December. It is during these 4 days that the great Christkindlimärt takes place, with over 200 stalls located between the lake, Marktgasse and Haupplatz.
Christkindlimärt takes place from 01 to 18 December 2022, with the following official times:
- Thursday 01/08/15. December from 2pm to 8pm
- Friday 02/09/16 December from 14:00 to 21:30
- Saturday 03/10/17. December from 11:00 to 21:30
- Sunday 04/11/18 December from 11:00 to 19:30
Throughout the period, markets will be set up along the Fischmarktplatz and the harbor. Smaller but equally impressive, they are open from about 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
Christmas in Rappersill is one of the greatest in Switzerland. During the Great Christkindlimärt, you can buy handicrafts and handmade products. Christmas decorations and gifts. And, of course, lots of gastronomic products: excellent honey, raclette fondue, crepes, waffles.
To warm up, nothing better than excellent hot chocolate. Or, alternatively, mulled wine and apple punch.
Guaranteed entertainment for the whole family with shows and exhibitions in the historic center. For the little ones, there will be lots of activities, fairytale readings and rides.
