Getting around Cordoba

Cordoba is a relatively small city. All the main monuments are located within walking distance of each other. The only exception is Medina Azahara, located about 10 kilometers away and preferably reachable by car.

GETTING AROUND CORDOVA ON FOOT

You can easily get around the historic center on foot. The distances are relatively short and the views and glimpses that the center offers deserve the right attention.
Cordoba train station is about a 20-minute walk from the centre, the Mezquita or the Alcazar.
Furthermore, from both you can reach the main points of interest on foot: Puente Romano, Palacio de Viana, patios and gardens.

CORDOVA BUS

Public transport is managed by the Spanish company Aucorsa. Buses are generally green, with the line number and route indicated on the front.
There are 16 urban lines in the city (from 1 to 14, 16 and C3), 5 special lines (from L1 to L5), 7 peripheral lines and 5 “poligonos” lines.
You will most likely not use public transport during your visit to the Andalusian city!

CORDOVA PUBLIC TRANSPORT TICKETS

A ticket valid for a single journey costs €1.30 per person. The ticket can be purchased directly on the bus from the driver.

There are no reductions for minors. Only children up to the age of 4 travel for free, accompanied by a paying adult.

CAR

The car, or any other means of your own, is absolutely useless for getting around Cordoba.

WHERE TO PARK YOUR CAR IN CORDOVA?

If you arrive in the city with your car, it is preferable to leave it in a car park or at your hotel (if you want to sleep one or more nights).
Parking in the center could be quite complicated, especially during weekends and during important events.

At Enfrente Salón Juego “Joker, Av. del Aeropuerto 5, you will find an excellent parking area. Prices are not excessively expensive, good availability and open 24 hours a day.
