Bilbao Airport (Bilboko) is the main international airport of the Basque Country and Northern Spain.
It is located just under 10 kilometers north of Bilbao.
More than 5 million passengers pass through here every year
Vueling, Lufthansa, Iberia, Air Europea, Easyjet, Norwegian, KLM, are the main airlines that make connections with Bilbao Airport.
In 2000 the new Terminal, designed by Santiago Calatrava, was inaugurated. Since then, traffic has almost doubled, thanks to the presence in the city of the splendid Guggenheim Museum.
And the numbers are set to increase in 2020 when the city will host some matches of the European Football Championships.

BILBAO AIRPORT CONNECTIONS
PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The A3247 Bizkaibus line connects the airport with the Bilbao bus terminal. The bus stops at Gran Vía 79, Plaza Moyua and Alameda Recalde 11.
Ticket office and information office are located in the arrivals hall. As soon as you leave, you will find the bus station.
The line operates every day, from Monday to Sunday, from Bilbao from 05:15 to 22:00; in the opposite direction, from 06:15 to 00:00.
The ticket for a single trip costs €3.00 per person (€1.14 with Barik Card). The journey takes about 25 minutes.
Every day, there are daily departures to Eibar, Donostia / San Sebastian. The service is managed by Pesa. For San Sebastian, the ticket price is €17.00 per person, with a journey time of around 75 minutes, via Zarautz.
TAXI
Traveling by taxi is quite expensive.
Outside the terminal, on the arrivals side, you will find about 70 official Asociación Auto Taxis Femade taxis. The rate applied is €0.65 for each kilometer traveled, to which taxes and airport surcharge will be added. A min taxi trip to the center of Bilbao costs around €25. For San Sebastian, over 150€ !!!
