Castellana Caves, incredible places in Italy. Opening hours, tickets

Castellana Caves

Caves. Underground cavities. Stalactites and stalagmites….
The charm of these places in the collective imagination is absolutely indisputable.
And Puglia, in this sense, is no exception, with its splendid Castellana Caves, among the most visited tourist sites in the entire Region.

Located a short distance from Alberobello, these caves are one of the most incredible natural places in all of Italy. And by visiting them it is easy to understand why.
Along the approximately 3 kilometers of the route you can admire caves, chasms, underground canyons, lakes and incredible stalactites.

You descend to over 60 meters deep to admire this wonderful, truly unique and exciting scenery. Like “Hell in the Cave”, the evocative event that brings Dante’s hell inside the caves.
