The Romanian airport of Avram Iancu is located about 10 kilometers from the center of Cluj Napoca. It is the second busiest airport in all of Romania, a real landmark in Transylvania. It is named after the Romanian revolutionary Avram Iancu.
The expansion and modernization works, begun after the 2000s, led to a new building that houses the current Terminal, and a completely new runway. Inside, the airport has all the essential services: counters to withdraw, postal services and more. There are, of course, bars, restaurants and shopping areas for your purchases.
