Ponta Delgada Airport is an airport located on the island of Sao Miguel, in the Azores. It is located about 2 kilometers west of Ponta Delgada, and is the main and busiest airport of the Archipelago. From here, direct connections are guaranteed with the other ports of the archipelago, the Portuguese cities and some important European and non-European destinations.
Inside the Terminal, you will find numerous shops, restaurants, shopping and duty free areas. The WIFI line is available for free, and without limitation, throughout the terminal. You will need to connect your device to the “_VINCI Airports WiFi” network, and once registered, you will be able to surf freely.

AEROBUS
ANC Aerobus is a private shuttle and transfer service that offers daily connections with Ponta Delgada by bus, minibus and special vehicles. The service is active every day, from 07:00 to midnight.
The ticket can be purchased directly on board the vehicle and costs €4.50 for a one-way trip, and €6.50 for a round trip. Children up to 11 years and adults from 65 years pay the reduced rate of 50%.
TAXI
Outside the Arrivals Terminal, you will find several taxis with which you can reach every part of the island of Sao Miguel. Central Taxi Pdl offers a comfortable and efficient transfer service from / to Joao Paulo Airport, at fixed prices. The price starts from a minimum of only €12 for the journey to Ponta Delgada, to a maximum of €60 for Faial de Terra.
