Auckland Airport is located approximately 20km from the city. It consists of two terminals: Auckland Domestic, for internal connections to the country, and Auckland International for international connections.
Generally, from Europe, it takes about 24 hours to reach Auckland Airport. Therefore, it is always preferable to take a break, otherwise it would take at least a couple of days to dispose of the time zone or travel stress.
Having said that, it is quite obvious that the solutions can be multiple, with a stopover in Dubai, Hong Kong, Seoul, or, again, New York and Los Angeles. Journey times are approximately 4 hours to Sydney, 11 hours to Singapore, 13 hours to Los Angeles and approximately 24 hours to London. Obviously, any stopovers must be taken into account.
Inside the airport there are many services, shops and shopping areas, duty-free. The WI-FI line is available free of charge for all guests.

HOW TO REACH THE CENTER FROM AUCKLAND AIRPORT
The connections from the airport to the city are guaranteed by several buses, some of which allow you to reach other New Zealand destinations.
AIRPORTLINK
The AirportLink bus connects Auckland Airport with Puhinui and Manukau Bus Station.
In Puhinui there is an interchange with the Southern and Eastern railway lines.
The AirportLink bus operates every day, Monday to Sunday, including holidays, from 04:30 to 00:40, with departures every 10 minutes.
The ticket price is $ 0.99 with AT HOP CARD (mandatory). The latter costs $15 and includes a $10 credit to travel across the entire network.
The station, at the airport, is located at stop A of the Domestic terminal and at stop B of the International terminal.
BUS 38
The bus connects the airport with Onehunga via Mangere Town Center every 15 and 20 minutes. It works every day, including holidays and parking is the same as at the AirportLink.
Again, the price is $0.99 plus the cost of the AT HOP CARD.
TAXI
The parking is located outside the ARRIVALS area of the International Terminal (Gate 8) and the Domestic Terminal (Gate 4).
Taxis are easily identified by the logo and the presence of the taximeter. There are several companies but the prices are generally always the same. A trip from Auckland airport to the city center costs around NZ $35, plus a $5 airport fee and $8 for each additional person.
