The Vendicari reserve hosts a wonderful ecosystem.
Hiking. Birdwatching. Snorkeling and diving in its extraordinary crystal clear waters. These are just some of the activities within the Reserve.

TIMETABLE AND ACCESS GATES
The Reserve is open every day, from Monday to Sunday, at the following times:
- from April to October, from 08:00 to 19:30
- from November to March, from 09:30 to 16:00.
Access is allowed within 90 minutes of closing. There are 5 entry gates , located in the center of Vendicari (tonnara), Eloro, Marianelli, Calamosche, Cittadella.
There is a maximum number of daily admissions, in order to preserve the Reserve.
TICKETS
To visit the Reserve, the beaches, and the monuments inside, you need to purchase a special ticket.
Here are the rates applied:
- Full: 3.50€
- Reduced (scouts, students and police forces): 1.50€
- Family (2 adults and children): 7€
Children under 8 go free accompanied by at least one paying adult.
NEEDED TO VISIT VENDICARI
Inside the Reserve there are no equipped facilities or, much less, refreshment points or bars.
You will have to bring everything you need, if you want to spend at least half a day.
Be well organized, especially if you are traveling with children: water, food, umbrella, sunscreen and hat should not be missing.
Many of the paths to reach the beaches are in full sun: pay attention to the temperatures and take the necessary breaks when you encounter a bit of cool.
