Pisa San Giusto is the main airport serving Tuscany, a wonderful Italian region. It is named after Galileo Galilei from Pisa. For passenger traffic, it ranks close to the Top Ten of Italian airports.

PISA AIRPORT – CITY CONNECTIONS.
Car, taxi and public transport. There are several options for getting around and reaching Pisa airport.
TRAIN
Every day, the People Mover shuttle bus connects Pisa Airport with the central railway station. From the latter, you can reach all destinations by train.
From the Passenger terminal, People Mover makes automatic and fast connections in just 5 minutes, from 06:00 in the morning until midnight. The ticket costs €5.00 per person.
BUS
Outside, not far from the Passenger terminal, is the bus station. Several companies guarantee connections with numerous Tuscan destinations, including Florence, Livorno, Lucca and Viareggio.
The Direct Sky Bus line of Caronnatour connects the airport with Florence in about 2 hours. The full fare ticket costs €13.90 for adults and €7.00 for children aged 3 to 11. Free for children up to 2 years old.
CTT – Vaibus, connects the Pisa San Giusto airport and Lucca in about an hour, and Viareggio in about 80 minutes. The cost of the ticket varies according to the distance of the journey, depending on the number of bands. Buy it directly at the airport.

CAR
Pisa Airport is perfectly integrated into the regional road and motorway system. By car, you can use the A11 Firenze-Pisa Nord; the A12 Genova-Rosignano; the Florence-Pisa highway and, finally, the SS1 state road. TAXI
The Cooperativa Tassisti Pisani (CO.TA.PI.) manages the taxi service 24 hours a day. At the airport, the parking is located in front of the terminal, on the arrivals side.
The rates, of course, depend on the distance and the time slot. Make sure of this in advance. All official taxis are clearly visible; have the appropriate sign, license number and taximeter in evidence.
