Magicland

Magicland is the Rome Amusement Park, located in the small town of Valmontone, about 50 kilometers from the capital. This is the largest amusement park in all of Central and Southern Italy.

Inaugurated in May 2011, this Rome amusement park received the “Park of the Year award” after just one year, in 2012! In 2022, he also obtained the Parksmania Jury Award “The culture of Fun“.

One of its characteristics is the presence of the large central lake. It is around it that the present attractions develop; in addition to the numerous shops, refreshment points and areas for shows and performances. The attractions are spread over an area of 185,000 square meters.

Gattobaleno is his official mascot; together with the Winx and some characters produced by Studio Rainbow.

PRACTICAL ADVICE

Magicland is a park suitable for everyone: whether you are as a couple, with friends or with family. You will find attractions for all tastes and, above all, for all ages. Obviously, like all parks, it is aimed above all at children and teenagers. KEEP THE LIMITATIONS IN WELL. The attractions, with very few exceptions, all require a minimum height and age . Children under one meter in height are prevented from getting on many attractions. Generally, the height of 120cm is ideal for taking advantage of almost any attraction. Ten years, on the other hand, is the minimum age to get on the Attractions for Courageous.

WHEN TO GO TO MAGICLAND

The Rome Valmontone Amusement Park is open all year round, every day, including holidays. Obviously, being an amusement park, the ideal period is between May and September. For some attractions such as Yucatàn or Le Rapide, staying dry is a challenge. Imagine in the middle of winter!

Summer is also synonymous with chaos. From May to September you will find a lot of people, and a lot of queues for the attractions. Especially the main ones. If possible, avoid weekends or holidays and opt for weekdays.

At the amusement Park you will find numerous bars, 4 restaurants and 10 shops where you can buy your souvenirs. In Magic Street there is the Information Office ready to provide you with all the info you need. Next to it is the Infirmary with a doctor and a nurse always available for any need.

Lost Property Office and also the Stroller Rental service. In the 8 bathrooms (all well signposted) there are always changing tables and areas for changing babies.

In front of the Yucatàn attraction, there is a large Pic-nic area surrounded by greenery between the sounds of waterfalls and the scent of flowers. You will find large and comfortable covered wooden tables. The total capacity is about 1000 seats. Reservations are required (for a fee): pollution this way you will have your table reserved as soon as the park opens.

Finally, we would like to point out the excellent service Rain gauge, your lifeline if it rains pouring in. The Rain Gauge measures the rain that has fallen; if all the sectors of your umbrella light up, you will be entitled to a VOUCHER FOR A FREE ENTRANCE to the Rome amusement park.
