Vilnius Airport is the most important airport in Lithuania serving the capital, from which it is 6 kilometers away. It is an important hub of the Baltic countries, together with the airports of Riga and Tallin and, above all, it is one of the fastest growing airports in recent years.
With the influx of travelers steadily increasing (except for the period of the Pandemic), the runway and terminal have been expanded. The new area now covers approximately 3500 square meters and hosts new shops, bars, restaurants and duty-free shops.
The WIFI line is available free of charge throughout the entire hotel. Just connect your device to the “Free Wifi Vilnius Airport” network and follow the instructions on the screen.

The airport is well connected by public transport and taxis. Alternatively, you can rent a car.
Vilnius is not an expensive city. Far from it. This inevitably also affects the cost of transport. Whether you are a couple, alone, or in a group, getting around by taxi is really cheap. Outside the Terminal you will find the taxi rank, ready to pick you up at any time.
Taxis in Vilnius are comfortable and extremely cheap. A ride to the center of Vilnius costs around €10. Keep in mind that there is a special rate for mileage, which indicates the maximum rate that can be applied.
Quick, comfortable and extremely efficient. The Lithuanian Railways Train is really the best way to get to the city center from Vilnius Airport. 16 daily connections are guaranteed for 0.80€. Really incredible! The ticket also includes the transport of a baggage from 32kg. You can also transport an animal, with additional fees.
The train takes only 8 minutes to reach the city. You can easily reach the train stop, following the appropriate signs, and going up stairs and elevators. Tickets can be purchased at the station or online. All the info on the official website, from this link.

You can also use public transport by road to reach the city. The lines are active outside the terminal 1 (Station-Vikingų St.- Airport), 2(Station-Liepkalnio St.-Vikingų St.-Airport), 3G (Fabijoniškės-Center-Airport), e 88 (Airport-Station-Old Town-Nepriklausomybės). The ticket can be purchased on board and costs 1.00€.
We recommend the bus if the waiting time of the train is too high, or if one of the lines on the road stops near your hotel. In this way, you will make only one movement.
Directly from the Vilnius airport you can reach Riga, Minsk and some interesting Lithuanian destinations by bus. The small town Klaipéda, is the only Lithuanian port on the Baltic; from here, ferries depart for Sweden, Denmark and Germany. It can be reached via the Espresso bus Ollex. The journey takes about 4 hours and the ticket costs €25 per person each way.
Ecolines guarantees connections to Minsk. The bus takes just under 4 hours to reach the bus station at Bobruiskaya g.6. The buses are modern and efficient, equipped with all comforts, including wifi and electrical outlet on the seats.
Lithuanian Toks instead, it makes daily connections from Vilnius to Palanga. The bus leaves from Vilnius and goes to the airport, Klaipėda and Kaunas. The ticket costs 25€ for the entire journey.
