Are you a motor fan? Are you planning a trip to the French capital in the first 16 days of October? In this case you can not miss the Mondial de l’Automobil Paris, that is, the Paris Motor Show. The event dates back to the distant 1898 and, this year, celebrates its 120 years.
The appointment, which is renewed every two years in the Ville Lumiére, also for this edition of the 2018 will propose new models, concepts, and incredible previews. The event is an unmissable event, so much to be visited by over a million people of all nationalities. It is indicated by the organizers as the largest car show in the world.
At the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, you will have a chance to see the main protagonists of the global automotive industry; from the best known brands to the less known ones. You will see up close the super bolides you have only dreamed of; sport cars; new electric and hybrid models; city-car and much more. In addition to the incredible new generation vehicles, all enthusiasts and the curious can admire a historical exhibition.
The 2018 edition of the Paris Motor Show represents a return to the origins. In fact, the “alternative” means have always been emphasized at the show. For this reason, today, ample space will be given to the two-wheelers with the Motorbike Salon, hosted in the 3 Pavilion. But the news does not stop here. The new 2018 will be the SALON OF MOBILITY, which allows you to discover new and responsible solutions for mobility and alternative energy. The event will be hosted in the brand new 2.2 pavilion!

HOW TO GET
The Paris Motor Show takes place at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles, 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles. You can arrive with the following public transport:
- METRO, 12 Line – Porte de Versailles stop; 8 Line, Station Balard.
- BUS 39 and 80 numbers, Porte de Versailles stop.
- TRAMWAY 2 and 3a numbers.
Whoever wants, can arrive by car. Outside, two large paid parking areas are available. The advice is, in any case, to arrive by public transport, leaving your car in a less central area.

TICKETS AND TIMES PARIS MOTOR SHOW 2019
There are different types of tickets. Purchasing one BILLET DATÉ, you can access for a pre-established date, from 04 to 14 October, at the cost of 16.00€ per adult. Children from 11 to 17 years, pay the reduced rate equal to 9,00€. Access is free for children under the age of 10. In this case, they enter with a paying adult and must still have a special ticket. The Billet DATÉ is non-refundable and is valid only for the day purchased. The BILLET OPEN allows entry for a day of your choice. Costs 18.00€ per adult and 9.00€ reduced.

The Show is open from Thursday 04 to Sunday 14 October, entry from 10:00 to 20:00. The days 04, 05, 06, 10, 11 and 12, the closure is postponed to 22:00.

WHERE TO SLEEP
The location of the Paris Motor Show is near the XV arrondissement. Quality facilities in this area generally have rather high prices. Better then to focus on even distant structures but near the efficient metro of the Ville lumiére. In this way, you can move around without any problem in the direction of Expo Porte de Versailles.
