Suffice it to say that the first edition, hosted in Berlin, dates back to the distant 1897! On that occasion, just 8 vehicles were exposed. From the 1951, the car show has moved to Frankfurt, the current location. And from the 1991, the event takes place every two years, during odd years, alternating with the Paris Motor Show. The latter, instead, takes place in even years. The program develops over eleven days, including activities, entertainment and lots of curiosities for all the fans. And there will certainly be some interesting innovations proposed at the IAA Motor Show 2019. Naturally, the protagonists will be home businesses. And it is also an opportunity to discover the beautiful Frankfurt. PRACTICAL INFOS HOW TO GET The plane is the most convenient and fastest way to reach your destination. Frankfurt International Airport is located only 13 km from the Messe Frankfurt Fair Ludwig-Erhard-Anlage 1, location of the IAA 2019 Show. From the airport, the convenient, fast, ICE (intercity Express) connects the city center in less than 15 minutes The nearest tram stop is Varrentrappstraße. With the U-Bahn, however, you have to get off at Festhalle / Messe. TICKETS AND TIMES IAA MOTOR SHOW 2019 The two days of TRADE DAYS, the 12 and 13 September, precede the official opening of the event. The latter takes place from Saturday 14 to Sunday 22 September, from 09: 00 to 23: 00. The ticket to enter during the weekdays (from 18 to 22) costs 13,00 € per adult, for a single day. During the Weekend, instead, the entrance costs 16,00 € per adult, for the single day. After the 15: 00, ticket costs 9,00 €. The prices indicated refer to the online purchase, on the official website. By purchasing tickets on the spot, a surcharge of 2.00 € is applied to the coupon! Online, you can buy the GIFT TICKET IAA 19,00 at the cost of 2017 € per person. This is a special ticket with which you can enter the event for two consecutive days of your choice (including the Weekend). To attend the two days of the Trade, which precede the event, you will have to purchase the specific coupon at the cost of 46.00 €. Allows you to enter exclusively on 12 and 13 September 2019 days. The event is an unmissable event, so much to be visited by over a million people of all nationalities. It is indicated by the organizers as the largest car show in the world. You can arrive with the following public transport: METRO, 12 Line – Porte de Versailles stop; 8 Line, Station Balard. BUS 39 and 80 numbers, Porte de Versailles stop. TRAMWAY 2 and 3a numbers. Whoever wants, can arrive by car. Outside, two large paid parking areas are available. The advice is, in any case, to arrive by public transport, leaving your car in a less central area. TICKETS AND TIMES PARIS MOTOR SHOW 2019 There are different types of tickets. Purchasing one BILLET DATÉ, you can access for a pre-established date, from 04 to 14 October, at the cost of 16.00€ per adult. Children from 11 to 17 years, pay the reduced rate equal to 9,00€. Access is free for children under the age of 10. In this case, they enter with a paying adult and must still have a special ticket. The Billet DATÉ is non-refundable and is valid only for the day purchased. The BILLET OPEN allows entry for a day of your choice. Costs 18.00€ per adult and 9.00€ reduced. To obtain the discounts, a valid identity document must be presented at the entrance. All the tickets The Show is open from Thursday 04 to Sunday 14 October, entry from 10:00 to 20:00.
