You ride the London Underground in your underwear. Just for the fun of it. And you do it with many others… and in the dead of winter.The event has been covered on TV and in newspapers, and obviously, there will no longer be the element of surprise, as in the very first editions. However, it remains a truly unique and fun gathering event. And it costs nothing to participate. Literally. HOW, WHERE, AND WHEN TO PARTICIPATE The No Trousers Tube Ride will take place as usual in London‘s Soho area, where the Chinatown pagoda once stood (coordinates 51.512183, -0.129601).Everyone will meet on Sunday, January 11th, 2026, at 2:45 PM (2:00 PM for group leaders) to head from the meeting point to the Underground.From around 3:00 PM, we’ll ride the subway (strictly in our underwear) and travel for a while.After the tour, we’ll meet for a drink and a chat. Obviously… strictly in our underwear! PRICE There’s no fee to participate. You just need a valid subway ticket. Any drinks and other items will be paid for separately. Schedules, tickets, stations Innsbruck Funicular Hungerburgbahn is the Innsbruck funicular that connects the Hungerburg district with the city center (Kongresshaus). Built in 2004 and inaugurated on December 1, 2007, the Innsbruck funicular actually has a long history, dating back to 1906. For nearly a century, the historic Hungerburgbahn served the Austrian city before being decommissioned and replaced with the current funicular. The new Innsbruck funicular, technologically advanced and futuristic, has seen the old route almost completely modified, sharing only the last 100 meters of the line. Some remnants and tracks of the old, decommissioned line are still clearly visible today! The funicular, along with the Seegrubenbahn and Hafelekarbahn cable cars, forms the Nordkettenbahnen, which takes you from the city center to the heart of the mountains (Hafelekar), 2,256 meters above sea level! INNSBRUCK FUNICULAR STATIONS AND CONNECTIONS The Hungerburgbahn line is 1,838 meters long, with a total of four stations. The Congress (Altstadt) station, at the bottom, is just six minutes from the Old Town and the Golden Roof. Tram lines A, C, J, K, and M, as well as buses 1, 2, and 540, pass near the funicular.Nordkettenbahnen guests can park all day (8 a.m.-6 p.m.) for just €4 in the InnenSTADT parking garage. To take advantage of the special parking rate, you must validate your ticket at the Altstadt station ticket office.ORF-Tirol is one of the two intermediate stations of the funicular, located at Rennweg 12a. From this station to the next one (Alpenzoo), the funicular crosses the Neue Hungerburgbahnbrücke bridge over the Inn River, offering beautiful views of the city.The Alpenzoo station is located at Weiherburggasse 41 near the zoo of the same name.Hungerburg is the valley station, located 856 meters above sea level. Open 24/7, it offers rates starting from €1.80 per hour.If the parking lot is full, you can park a little closer, at Marstallstraße 9, at the Zentrum Schloss car park, with a capacity of 180 spaces.
