A festival that takes place only 5 times in a century, from the 2016 inscribed in the immaterial cultural heritage by UNESCO.
A party that dates back to the eighteenth century but which has ancient origins.
These premises are enough to realize the uniqueness of Fete Des Vignerons. An incredible event that takes place over a period of time between the 14 and the 28 years, or, anyway, at every generational change. The 2019 is the first edition of the new millennium. It could be the right opportunity to say “I’ve been there”.
As is tradition, the splendid Market Square, hosting the Fete des Vignerons. A suggestive square, among the largest in Europe, nestled between lakes and mountains.
Departure the 18 July, at 07:00 in the morning, with the ceremony of the Coronation, which will be awarded the best worker of the Vineyards. A much awaited recognition, in these parts.

HOW TO GET
Once you reach Vevey, you can move on foot or by public transport. There Market Square, seat of the Show, it is easily reached on foot.
Parades and stands will take place throughout the city.
FETE DES VIGNERONS 2019 PROGRAM
Here is the program with the main events of the Fete des Vignerons 2019.
VILLAS EN FETE
Literally, city in Festa. Parades, dances, gastronomy and, of course, wine will enliven a vast area of Vevey, from Jardin Doret to Entre-Deux-Ville.
Street artists, touring performances, will animate the Ville en Fête, both day and night. Among the numerous stands set up, you can delight yourself with typical local products. During the various Canton Days, you can try the specialties of the restaurateurs.
PROCESSIONS
In Vevey, great expectations for the three parades, organized by the Confrérie des Vignerons. Actors and extras of the show will cross the city, together with the parades of the invited cantons. Appointment of the 18 July, at 11:30, after the Coronation ceremony. The following dates will be Saturday 27 July and 03 August, at 15.00.
Parades and Ville En Fete are always free and accessible to anyone.
THE SHOW
In the splendid Market Square, takes place the long-awaited show of the Fete des Vignerons, in the specially set-up arena. An incredible moment that combines music, poetry, song, set design. Besides 5000 actors and extras, selected among the inhabitants of the place, take part in this incredible journey, between music, lights and words. Accompanied, strictly live, from the Choir of the Fête, from the Big Band, from the Percussionists, from the Choirs of the Alps, from a Little Together, and from the Pipes and Drums.
TIMETABLES AND TICKETS
To attend the Arena Show, it is mandatory to purchase the entrance ticket. There are only the 5 ticket categories, the price of which varies according to accommodation. For the coronation and the Spttacoli, the price varies from a minimum of 79CHF, for the Cat5 to a maximum of 299CHF for the categoria1. There is also a ticket Premium which at the cost of 359CHF also offers a range of benefits.
It is recommended, as indicated by the organizers, to purchase tickets EXCLUSIVELY through official channels. Some coupons, in limited numbers, are also available on site.
Evening shows, at 21:00, scheduled 19, 20, 25, 26, 27 July and 02, 03, 08, 09, 10 August 2019.
Daytime shows in the days 21, 23, 28, 30, at 11:00. The day 01 August, at 14:00. The days 04, 05, 06, 10 and 11 August 2019, at 11:00.
