Pazar, the Green Market of Split. Info, guide, opeing hours, how to arrive

Many know it as the Green Market. For everyone, especially the inhabitants of the place, it is simply the Pazar, the wonderful Market located in the street of the same name.

For us at Kanoa it is one of the absolutely unmissable places of your vacation in Split. A large outdoor market that, every day, offers a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, and always fresh products.

Beautiful. Chaotic. Colored. It is one of the central places in the life of Split and, today, much loved by tourists who crowd it from the early hours of the morning. It is located between Ul. Stari pazar and Hrvojeva, where stands the Church of San Domenico, east of the Diocletian Palace.

Here you can breathe the unique and genuine atmosphere of the city and of the whole Dalmatia. Very animated. You can spend some time in the lights, colors and scents of this market. You will be literally wrapped in the scent of lavender. You can bargain among the various stalls and bring home a bit of everything. Including the inevitable souvenirs.

Although they are not the best in the city, the prices are quite good, and the quality is really excellent. A must for Split.
