Get in Tivoli Park Copenhagen on foot or by public transports

Get in Tivoli Park

Born in the far 1843, Tivoli is the second oldest amusement park, surviving today. Also known as the Tivoli Gardens, it stands in the center of Copenhagen, almost as if it were suspended in time. Much of the Park of the past has remained intact. Or, at least, we tried to maintain the original appearance. The entrance is still that of the past, where one of the oldest buildings of the complex stands: the Pantomime Theater.

Tivoli is an absolutely unique place. One of the most visited attractions in the whole Capital. It is no coincidence, in fact, that inspired a certain … Walt Disney!

HOW TO GET IN TIVOLI PARK

Located in the city center, the park is easily accessible on foot from the center, by public transport and by car. It is found at Vesterbrogade 3. Without doubt, the best way to get to Tivoli Park is by public transport, being practically close to numerous bus, train and togbus stops.

Nearby is the train station of Københavns Hovedbanegård. From here, lines A, B, BX, C, E, and numerous IC and Regional trains pass. A short distance away is the Togbus stop of København H. Numerous bus lines pass along Hovedbanegården, Tivoli (Bernstorffsgade).

If you were already in the center of Copenhagen, you can easily reach the Tivoli Park, walking for a few tens of minutes. It almost takes 5 from Nationalmuseet o Rhaduspladsen.

GET IN TIVOLI PARK BY CAR

The car is not the best solution to get to the Tivoli Park. Copenhagen does not lend itself particularly to being filmed in cars.
For those interested, the structure recommends using one of the following APCOA parking lots:

  • Axel Towers Carpark – Axeltorv 2, 1609 København V
  • Saga Carpark – Vesterbrogade 25. 1620 København V
  • Nyropsgade Carpark – Nyropsgade 6, 1602 København V
